Pendleton, Indiana: Small but Mighty
The town of Pendleton, Indiana, is small, but the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Visitors might be surprised, given the population of only about 3,000, at all there is to do in the little town.
Located about 20 miles North of Indianapolis in Madison County, Pendleton is especially proud of its sophisticated business district and abundance of natural resources.

Falls Pointe Industrial Park, along historic Fall Creek, is a relatively new business development in Pendleton that was developed with the needs of the community, families, and modern business professionals in mind. Sites can be personalized to meet each company’s requirements, and a full range of utilities are available, including fiber optic. The area has been made appealing to employees as well, with a circular walkway cutting through the surrounding greenery and offering a view of conveniently nearby Pendleton restaurants, daycare, and medical facilities. The cutting-edge new industrial park makes Pendleton an attractive place for families to settle.
In addition to providing an appealing business venture that draws in new residents, Pendleton houses Falls Park, a
large, lush play area for those young and old and everything in between. Boasting over 150 acres, the area has amenities that normally aren’t seen in a small-town park, such as an Olympic-sized swimming pool, six baseball diamonds, the scenic falls for which it’s named, and extensive playground facilities. Falls Park is also home to Pendleton’s seasonal celebrations, including the homecoming parade, the June Jamboree, and the Heritage Festival. (The small town of Avon, Indiana has a Heritage Festival, too.)

Pendleton prides itself on community closeness and a small-town ambience that combines business and pleasure. The little town enjoys the honor of being one of only two Indiana cities listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
