About twenty miles north of Indianapolis, Pendleton restaurants and others in the little hamlets that orbit the Circle City exert a magnetic pull to the Hoosier residents of the Indiana state capitol. There’s nothing like a short jaunt to one of the small towns outside the big metropolis to make one feel comforted, especially when one is craving the down-home flavor of the country.
